| Hey all Those of you with pearl cars probably have heard of the difficulty in matching the paint. I was having the same problem here. However, I will soon be in need of functional intercooler vents and I wanted to try something short of painting the whole car (: I decided to try to install the stillen TT lip over top of my NA fascia on the convertible so that only the lower lip would need to be painted. I also picked this lip because it has the indentation for the pinstriping along the top that (hopefully) creates a bit of a visual break between the old paint and the new paint. I had the lip painted at Concours Collision. I think that they did a really nice job. They matched the paint from the original paint code and the fuel door (which I removed so they had an actual paint sample). The lip is not fastened to the fascia in the pics but you can get a sense of the color match from the pics. I think that I will reinstall the pinstriping, and have the whole lip covered with 3M film prior to fastening it to the fascia. Anyways, what do y'all think? test fitting unpainted
